Wichita, KS, '97 F250 7.3L PSD/Auto CC/SB 2WD

Hello All! I'm new to diesel trucks as I've only previously owned an '87 and currently still an '82 F150 w/ 351W. I just bought this truck locally to me and so far I have enjoyed it. I don't know why it took me so long to buy a diesel in the first place other than being ignorant about them. I started doing a little research and started looking around for them. There is a local used truck dealer in the town where I live (Haysville) and got the wife's approval first, lol. I've owned it for a week now. It has a huge RanchHand bumper/guard on the front, but everything else is stock.

Anyway, I'm looking to do a downpipe and cold air intake soon along with guages and a tuner to follow.

I'll be looking around and reading quite a bit as I've only owned gas engines before. I'm still learning the lingo and acronyms. I'm a Fox Mustang guy and am into drag racing and turbos so I should be right at home with this truck. Anyway, I got the truck to do some hauling and towing here and there. It shouldn't be much more than just a car and trailer, but we'll see.

I own a 97' F250 also. Does your have the HD package? If so does your front end sag and the wheels tilt with the independent front suspension

Spend most of my time off work (i work on heavy equipment) working and repairing buick grand nationals, turbo T's and T-types.

It does have the HD package. I haven't noticed the tilt in the short time I've owned it. I'll be looking at it in the light tomorrow.

I'm actually an Arky, but I'm active duty Air Force and have been stationed in Wichita for over 10 years now. I must say that I don't want to live any where else. I really do like it here. Although, I do hate the wind when it's cold outside like it is now, lol. If I pull my Mustang up to KC to drag race maybe we can meet up!
