Just wanted to say hello. New to the site, looks good. Has some nice info for people like me who are relatively new to the powerstroke monster!

Here is mine:

2006 loaded lariat CC F250
4 inch Superlift
305/50/20 Nittro Terrass
20s (feel like a gangsta when I say that)

Seeing that this is my first diesel I have a few questions.

1) what are cheap options for more power, specifically for towing and fuel economy?

2) Is it possible to run a "chip" or tuner and retain the stock Ford warranty?

3) Is there anything I should be on the lookout for with these powerstrokes?

Welcome to the site man! Nice looking rig.
on your questions:
1) i think any of the tuners are going to run you about the same $$ wise with a gauge package too but the favorites seem to be SCT with custom tunes (more aggressive tuner) Bully Dog ( also kinda aggressive) Edge (milder power) Quadzilla ( milder also) and then theres Superchips witch i know nothing about but those that have it fro economy and towing like it.
2) running a tuner is a gamble when you go to the dealer. Any mod that may have contributed to a repair is going to be looked for. Dealers look for tuners cause they know alot of guys use them and try to hide them. It really depends on your dealer to a lager extent.
3) look out for the adiction to driving it!!

welcome Scottie to the addiction! there is so much you can do to that trucks its ridiculous. Just ask these guys on here (im not a 6.0L guy) and they can hook you up guaranteed!

I know, I feel like a total wantabe kid poser when I tell people I have 20s on my pickup. LOL

I REALLY want to add a tuner, but for as much money as I paid for this thing, I doubt I will do it for a while. One of the things that made me want a ford was the motor warranty. And I don't want to do anything to jeopardize that.

Oh well, still has WAY more power than anything I am used to.
