New owner 2005 F250 6.0

Just picked up a 2005 F250 Crew cab 4x4 6.0 at 100k miles. The guy we bought it from said it has a Bulletproof EGR and Oil cooler. I did notice the oil filter is now located in front of the driverside tire behind the bumper so that is legit (I believe), how can I tell if the EGR is upgraded? He said he spent a couple grand getting it all done but the ARP studs werent needed at the time he spent the money to bulletproof the other stuff. Is there anything I should look out for now and upgrade? Truck runs amazing, I am looking into getting a bunch of gauges as recommended by the forums to monitor temps. Looking to swap out fluids this weekend to start fresh. We have all the documents from Ford for every maintanance item he brought the truck in for for the past 8 years or so. Should I look into getting a coolant filter even after it has the external oil cooler?

Sorry if I sound ignorant, I have read some things but im not all up to speed yet.

If they did the oil cooler chances are they did the egr cooler. The only way to really tell however is to pull the egr cooler.

So no way to tell from the outside huh?
Also I assume that the remote oil cooler gets rid of the original oil filter? Or does it actually run on both of them?
Sorry its my first ever diesel.

Congrats on owning a 6.0l, got my '06 and haven't looked back. My brother in law owns a cummins and gives me crap about mine, but it is what it is. Would rather drive a Ford than a emblem that resembles ovaries.

Getting my EGR Delete tomorrow and installing a wicked wheel 2 this weekend, if you don't mind me asking, what'd you get yours for? Nice bullet proofing done as well.

Any plans to lift it? or keeping it stock?
