new guy from ct

hey whats up guys im sam, im 21 and from connecticut. im new to powerstrokes and pretty much diesels in general but not to fords. right now i have a 1990 mustang thats the fun car and an 04 ranger xlt that i picked up a few months ago for a dd.

so my ranger turned out to be a lemon, so now im thinking of upgrading to a "powerjoke" so i can tow my junk car to, and more importantly, home from, the tracks in the summer. im just lurking around here looking for some info on 6 liters.

i went to the dealership today to look at a 13,000 dollar ranger and ended up bringing home a 21,000 dollar 05 fx4. ide post pics but its pretty dark out haha. i havent signed for it yet but got approved and they let me take it for the rest of the week to make a thorough inspection... so my question to you guys is, where do i start????

my plans to start out are prolly alot like all of yours, i just want a nice clean reliable truck that i can do work, but also have fun with. im sure, like everything else i get, it wont be long before the mod bug bites and the truck tows the car to the track and then runs quicker ET's lol...

anyways, ill be around asking some questions for awhile i appreciate the any info you guys can throw my way!!! thanks again!

-sam

hahaha, my buddy said it the other day sounded catchy, he's a d-max driver but has a turbo foxbody so he's alright.
