New Ford PSD`s... from MN

Just wanted to say Hello from MN/MO.. Been a diehard dodge guy my whole life... owned 5 Dodges with cummins, still have an 02. Just picked up a super clean 03 eddie bauer excursion with a 6.0. Heard tons of horror stories, but seen alot of these motors make good power and last after certain things have been replaced and fixed. Anywaysn just wanted to introduce myself...

ps im not a big poster but i read alot!

thanks guys!

Welcome to the Addiction!! Yep the 6.0 is a great engine but there are bugs to get rid of in most of them. I have the truck in my sig and drive it like I stole it and never a single issue then I have an 06 dually that is a bit of a money pit. It is in the shop now getting new head gaskets, arp head studs, new oil cooler and a new turbo. The egr cooler was deleted when I bought it, so saved that little bit of cash. I think it will be a solid performer when it comes back. You will find the guys on here most helpful and great guys to glean knowledge from as well.
