New (To Me) Super Duty and Mystery Gauge?

Hello Everyone,
I was born an raised in Dearborn, MI, so naturally, I had to get a Ford truck when the time came. I've been a long time reader of the site and just purchased an '07 Supercab Short-bed Lariat on Saturday. Already hauled by buddy's motorcycle. I love this truck and can't wait to start adding my own touch to it. It did come with a mystery gauge on the dash that I was wondering if anyone could figure it out. It's the grey digital one on top in the picture below. I followed the wires back and the are cut. There are matching wires on the frame that are cut as well. Any ideas as to what this is? Fifth wheel battery charger? I am also looking to get as many miles out my truck as possible. I'm thinking of doing a bypass oil filter and coolant filter soon. Any thoughts on good mods to keep the engine running for a long, long time? I look forward to getting more involved in the forum here!

Thanks

Search the "Blue spring Mod".. It's a cheap realibility mod that could possibly save your injectors. I ordered mine online when I ordered my Coolant filter Kit but I heard most Ford dealerships carry them...
