New Onboard

Hello Everyone!
I joined the site today, and am excited about participating in a great site to share information about our kick-@#* trucks! I have a 2006 F350 Crew Cab 4x4 with the 6.0 PSD and Torqueshift tranny. I bought the truck new last year, and have had only good experiences with it.

I like the looks of a lifted truck, but tow a heavy fiver, and don't want to sacrifice that ability. I have about 37K on the truck now, and have about 12K left on the stock Conti's. I'd like to run a 35" AT tire once the stockers are gone; we'll see.

Welcome to the forum. Might want to check into those tires. Sometimes they will touch together in the middle of the dual tires when loaded and blow.

Thanks Fellas,
I forgot to mention my truck is SRW, so I wouldn't have to worry about the DRW clearance factor. My concern is more with gearing & heat build up while pulling steep grades. I see engine oil temps reach the low/mid 240's while climbing the grapevine at about 35 mph. This is while towing my fiver, and without the Jeep inside it. This concerns me, and I change the oil ASAP after returning home.
