my name is bryan and i just got a 2000 f250 with the 7.3. it is already lifted and sitting on some 39.5 super swampers. this is my first diesel so any tips for upgrades would be appreciated.

Looks like a pretty sweet truck.

There is more than enough info on here for your modding needs.

Depending on your power wants/needs here is a little list of stuff to do:

1. Gauges (EGT, Boost, Trans Temp)
2. Intake
3. Exhaust (4" or 5") or Stacks
4. Programmer
5. Tranny Upgrade (Clutch if it's a manual)
6. Turbo upgrade (Wicked Wheel upgrade and/or ATS housing)
7. Turbo replacement
8. HPOP Upgrade (Steath pump)
9. Injectors
10. Nitrous/Methanol/Propane
11. Gears/LSD

My mods are in my signature and I'm looking at doing a turbo rebuild/upgrade with a Wicked Wheel. I forgot about putting in a MAP fooler and a boost controler as well as head studs. Of course, you can take that list as far as you want and beyond. If you really want to go overboard, you could spend over $50,000 in mods.

Glad to have ya around, You can always start with intake and Exhaust. If you are planning on do a power adder, you will def need some guages. If you have an auto, you can do an auto temp, boost, and EGT. If you have a 6spd, you will just need boost and EGT. If you do anything at all, get the EGT guage. Then you can start adding power, but you want to be able to watch your numbers so you dont kill your truck. Power adders, everyone has their fav, and you can look around and ask questions. I have my opinons, and eveyone else does too. So I am not going to open that bag right now. But welcome, and get an EGT guage, intake and exhaust, in that order.
