Hello Powerstroke owners
Hello all,
New to the forum, but have been driving Ford diesels since the beginning in 1983. My current ride is a 2004 F350 XLT FX4 SuperCab SuperDuty 4X4 8ft bed with a 6.0l Powerstroke and torqueshift trans. I currently have 158,934 miles on it and still going strong without any problems. I have been reading some of the postings and found one of the biggest complaints are about dealers and the upgrades done to your truck. I spoke with Ford Powerstroke engineers at the 2004 Powerfest rally in Indie and they stated that the dealers have to prove that the upgrade caused any problems before they can void your warranty. He went on to say, it is very difficult for the dealer or even a Ford engineer to prove it. Every one have a wonderful day |

Whitefox! No the dealer doesn't have to prove anything. If they void a repair, just try to argue with them and see where you get - no where! (don't aks me how i know this )Don't take any chances at a dealer, if you have a repair need, take your mods OFF before you go in. |
