New Member from Utah

Hi everyone from a backpacking, beekeeping survivalist grandpa who fell for the 7.3L Super Duty trucks about 10 years ago when I was assigned one as a work truck. Started looking for one a couple of years ago and finally came across a very nice early 99 crew cab this year.

I've turned a wrench a time or two on "gassers" over the years. but I've got a whole bunch of learning to do on diesels. So I'll be a lurking. I've already experimented with ATF and TCW3 in the fuel. Neither made one bit of difference. But a recent oil change from Rotella to Mobil Delvac really quieted and smoothed the engine. I was pleasantly surprised.
