Just picked up a 2014!

Hey everyone, Just thought i'd introduce myself to the forum. Just picked up a brand new 2014 F-250 Lariat 6.7 Powerstroke w/FX4 package in Sterling Grey.

I'm a first time diesel truck owner, and lovin' it. Picked her up because I'm finishing up on a BMW e30 project track car (I work for BMW/MINI as a mechanic/technician) that I plan to tow and figured my new 6.7L should have no issues. Hope to learn allot from this community, and share as much information and knowledge as well as my journey with "ALICE" (thats her nickname). I'm from Northern California and hope to connect with some other California Ford Diesel owners.

Honestly, it offered the best of both worlds. It has nice interior and features, with the towing capacity/balls I will need to comfortably tow my track car. Also, love the exterior look over both of its competitors, and I got a good deal on her. This is coming from a long time GM/Chevy lover. I test drove both the RAM 2500, Chevrolet 2500HD (awful interior...) and the Ford was the best IMHO offering everything I liked about the other two, while still being unique in its design.

Nice! Thanks . I was asking because I been seeing a lot of new fords around, and they look solid, Ford knows how to make them look attractive and luxurious. I like to hear everyone opinions since I haven't driven a new one yet, but keep hearing how Ram is all that and more. Glad you like it man we need picfures of the beast towing!!

Welcome and yes you will enjoy that truck. I too just bought mine about a month and half ago and still can't believe how far along these Powerstrokes have come. I've owned two other generation models and this one is great.

I'm from Northern California, San Jose area. Haven't seen too many in my area, but then again I wasn't looking before, but now I do.
