New Purchase

Hey all, been browsing this site for a while now (and have learned a TON).
Well, just picked up a 2007 F250 6.0L Lariat - Dark Stone. Loving the truck so far...and I love the lift, but wish it was more like a 4".

It's got 80,000 miles, custom hood, 6" Pro-Comp lift, 35"x12.5x18 Nitto Terra Grapplers, 18x9 Eagle wheels, aFe Dry Intake and 5" MRBP exhaust.

Just had the coolant flush and tranny flush done by the dealership (going to flush and switch from Gold to ELC soon). Changed oil, filters, transfer & diff fluids.

Oh ya...EGR delete and Custom tunes from Elite on the way :-)

Great looking truck man!! Out of curiosity, why did you decide to go with tunes from Elite?

Elite is only about 15 minutes from me...so I figured if I had any issues they could help me out (as least that is what they tell me). My only issue is that they only do tuning on Fridays...so I have to wait another week to get my tunes from them.

I've read good things about the other tuners as well...I figured if I don't like Elites I'll try one of the others.

Yeah they recently moved back up here to the Denver area. I know of a couple guys in our chapter that have ran the tunes Tad writes and they ran pretty hot and smokey compared to others, plus they were a pain in the azz to get in touch with to get things fixed. I have ran Matt's SRL and now running a Panty Dropper tune from Chris @ TSD. They SRL was great, but the Panty Dropper tune Chris wrote for me for the elevation we are in simply kicks azz!! After I got mine and ran it for a bit a buddy of mine up here too got the same tune and loves it as well.

By the way, if you are interested go check out our Colorado chapter..... Centennial State Powerstrokes - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum
