Newbie from Reno, Nevada

Just joined on this site as found out about it over at the sister forum of Dodge Cummins which joined also in the last week
Now let me explain.................
We own the Ford Superduty that we have had since 2000, and just bought a 2004 Dodge quadcab dually with Cummins motor soooooooooo we have one of each We decided(Luana/wife), and I that we wanted another truck but did not want 2 of the same make so we would have variety(variety is the spice of life ). The Ford we have has had many upgrades, and performance goodies added, and is the one we have used for racing as well, and decided to get a cruiser so went with Dodge quad cab dually for room, and just like the looks of a dually. Already straightpiped it, and did the air intake along with an Edge EZ box but seeing it is going to be our cruiser will not do all that we did with the Powerstroke as it is still the zoomer in the family.
So when I found the Dodge Cummins website, and found out about this Powerstroke forum site of the same people just had to come over here, and check it out, and register.
Sorry for the long intro but thought I had better explain it
Looking forward to reading, and lurking(which I do a lot of being retired) over here, and hope to learn a thing or 2 even though I have been a Powerstroke owner for the last 5 years.
Will be bouncing back, and forth between this forum, and of course the sister forum Dodge Cummins, and enjoying all the goin's on in the best of both worlds.

Larry

Welcome to the forum Larry! It's good to have you. Rodslinger is right, we don't all bleed the blue. I myself am still undecided on what diesel engine is going to be under the hood of my next truck. Plus i've got names on the cummins forum and the duramax forum as well. I gotta know what's going on everywhere ya know?!

Thanks for the welcome!

I think the more who come over from other sites as I did will find others we know here as well.
I have had many problems, and many upgrades in the 6 years we have owned this truck so if anyone has questions please feel free to ask. Been on some of the truck forums for 6 years as well, and is where I gained a lot of my knowledge.

Also welcome to Kickin!

Kickin(Bill) is a good friend of me, and Luana's, and have learned a lot from him about the Strokes as known him almost 6 years, and his have even worked on my truck numerous times with me being retired on a medical pension from injuries on the job.
Him being younger, and his love for diesel's is a book of knowledge in his 6'6" body
I don't post much but lurk a lot here, and enjoy what I read, and if I see something I might be of some help will definently chime in, and give my .02 cents

Larry
