Looking to join the 6.0l family please read.

Honest opinions please. I have what could be a pretty good deal. Its a 2004 f250 6.0L supercab lariat. leather blah blah blah. A very very clean truck not rust spotting nothing. It has 107k miles on it good rubber and here is the kicker the previous owner had a brand new re-man engine installed with manifolds, new injectors and all. I have a little experience with diesel trucks but all with cummins. Would this be basically a brand new engine in the truck? The carfax and everything else comes back great nothing bad. They are asking just under 17k which to me seems a bit high but Im new to the game!

Thanks for all the help! glad to be here

Who re-manned it? Is it a FoMoCo reman, or a local shop deal.

Do they have the paper work and possible VIN on the donor truck?

I would trust an OASIS over a Car Fox.

Yes it is located in Michigan and they sent the truck to FoMoCo and had it all done there. They also have all paperwork and reciepts of the work as well. I know that carfax at least everything comes back spotless.

Its brand new on the lot. The truck itself is immaculate. I was just curious about the engine. It has all the updates on it like the egr and oil cooler and the head studs. Basically it seemed too good to be true so i wanted other opinions plus the price. Is that a decent price?
