new to diesels, don't have one yet, got questions
Hi, I'm new to diesels but have always wanted one. So far I have stayed with '60's cars. The truck I'm trying to get is a 95-98 f250-350 4x4 crew but so far I am still trying to find the right one. Also, one of the trucks I am looking at is kindof high mileage (250,000) I know everyone says you get more miles out of diesels but how many? It was supposedly owned by a diesel mechanic.
Thanks in advance |

Yes,
to Powerstroke.orgAs far as your question, i personally would buy a 250k mile truck. Diesel mechanic or not...was he the only owner?? I suppose if it was reaaly cheap you could take a gamble on it, the worst case would be you would have to find ya another motor to drop in it and those can be had on ebay all day long. I have seen school busses sell on Ebay for 500 bucks and they were powered by internationals 7.3s... some with under 150k miles. |

It shows all the information on your vehicle, maintenance and warranty work performed, etc.

If any service was done out of the local shade tree mechanics garage, you'll never know. |
