Newbie

New to the site, New to Diesels. Ive been a fan for along time but never could see a use for one in my day to day lifestyle. Recently I decided that I didnt care if I needed one or not I was buying one. Well naturally being from the northwoods and born and breed from a ford family a powerstroke it is. BUT my question is, with the selection of different powerstrokes how does a guy pick which is right for him? Ive heard 7.3 is the best out there but see alot of things about the 6.0, any comments are appreciated on the pros and cons of the various engine models. I know the truck will be either a 250 or 350 crew cab.

Glad to have you - to the ORG!!

If you don't mind some reading material, there are forums for:
7.3L (OBS ('94-'98) and SuperDuty ('99-'03))
6.0L ('03-'07)
6.4L ('08-'10)
6.7L ('11-?)
Go up to the top nav bar, click on "Forums" and then scroll down to the various forums. Good info in each and may answer a bunch of your questions. If not, don't be afraid to ask.
