also new to diesel....

bought my 6.0 a couple months ago, absolutely love it! i hope its completely bulletproofed, i have only the budget for maintanence.... never thought i'd buy a diesel but came across a pretty good deal from my research. hauls a trailer like nothing is even behind it!

Nice bud, welcome. These trucks are amazing pieces of machinery and will perform flawlessly when cared for correctly. If you haven't done so. I would recommend doing and oil change, and fuel filter change, and replacing your coolant with something besides the ford gold. Trust me, it'll save u major head aches in the future.

Welcome!! Id also throw in a quick and easy plus cheap thing to do that Id suggest is changing out the Degass bottle cap. (radiator cap) They get weak and will not hold pressure.
