Hello from SoCal, and Thanks!

I've had my Super Duty about 6 months. During that time, I've had a couple of issues and questions arise, and this forum always comes up in the Google searches. I've found the threads here useful and informative.

I joined a couple days ago when after 3 days of under the dash wiring and stuff with alarm, immobilizer, and stereo installation, I went to move it, and all it would do was idle. No throttle response. Code P0220. I Google'd it, and found a thread here that led me to a broken wire on the idle switch that was damaged by the t-tap for the pacbrake install. I went from "oh ****, what have I done?" to "Ok, that's fixed" in about 30 minutes.

I'm an ASE Master Tech, and have 45+ years of mechanical and electrical experience, generally with GM/Chevrolet. I work on boats and yachts as my vocation. None of this (including diesels) is new to me. But Fords are. The wire colors and engine management strategies are unfamiliar. I learn quickly when information is presented by others that know what they're talking about. I've read several people here that know what they're talking about, and that info really helped me out. I hope with time, I can reciprocate.
