welcome!

there are a few areas that are designated for members only, if you have a general question, you can create a new thread in several different areas, depending on what the nature of the question is. let me know if you need more help.

You won't ne able to post in the tech forums, but you should not have a problem posting in the 7.3/6.0 problems forums. Post it over there, we'll get you fixed up.

And WELCOME to the site.

Thank you for the welcome!

I have found a 1997 F250 with a 7.3 turbo that needs a high-pressure pump replaced. It is partially disassembled but only costs $1000. It needs a passenger window too.

I would like the appropriate forum to ask questions about replacement of this pump if at all possible. I've worked on diesels before but never this model.

I didn't want to get technical in the welcome forum really.

Welcome to Powerstroke.org Ultra!
We've got a few forums where we only post things for informational purposes - keeps it less cluttered and easier to find answers to a problem. BUT on that note we do have users who send us things to ADD to the Tech Files and we'll put them in. It's kind of just a resource area.
Anyway, it's great to have you here and if we can do anything don't hesitate to ask. Enjoy the site!
