New member in the Az area.

Howdy guys. I am a huge powerstroke fan but as of right now my family doesn't own one. We do have a super duty but it is a V10 (not that I am complaing I love that truck). I decided to subscribe as I would like to learn as much as possible about diesels. I know a little about 6.0Ls and 7.3L powerstrokes and even more about the old 6.9L IDIs but not as much as I should. So my first question is are you going to be like another forum (cummins forum) that I joined and kick me off because of no diesel or are you superduty guys nicer. I love Fords and Super dutys and will promise not to bash diesels.
Here is some background on me I am only 17 but have a huge strive for learning especially about trucks. I dream of becoming an auto technician, motorcycle mechanic and diesel mechanic (which is why I need to learn about diesels more even though I know a little bit). We have a fleet of 9 vehicles (big family) and love all of them 7 fords 1 Harley and 1 chevy
There are a couple other reasons I subscribed:
I am absolutely drooling over f250ghosts and worldwide73s trucks as that is the look I like on our 02 F250 and kinda would like more info.
I hope you guys are just as nice as another forum I have been on for 2 1/2 years now.

Thanks for the welcome. How do you like that 6.7L? I am trying to talk my dad into one but they are quite pricey.

This is my second 6.7L I had an '11 regular cab and loved it, the power was stock was incredible but outgrew it. My '13 has all the options and is everything I always wanted in a truck. Is it perfect, No, but Ford has come along way that's for sure. I enjoy all the interaction with my truck, ie, draining the fuel/water separator, adding the Def, testing my coolant and so on. I Just installed Rancho 9000XL shocks and a Bilstein Steering Stabilizer the other week as The ones that come stock are pretty worthless. If your Dad does pull the trigger he will not be disappointed. Again, Welcome to the Org!

rattlesnake 18 did you do a complete 05 swap on your truck? Our 02 has a 05 grille and bumper I want to put Harley lights on it to match the black and white scheme on the truck. The 05 swap has to be my favorite upgrade.

No, I didn't do a swap, I just installed HD lights and cut the header panel to make them fit.
