Picked up two weeks ago a 2014 F350 King Ranch long box, SRW. We travel 6-7 months a year pulling a 5th wheel trailer. Got our first 1,000 miles on and hooked up the trailer yesterday for the first time. Did experience launch shudder taking off from a dead stop under load. Took it back to the dealer, said they have seen this before and have some shims to fix the problem. Take in it next week, great dealer. Great looking truck we really like it.

Getting ready to head out the first of October that will take us coast to coast 7 months and doing some great exploring.

Took my new truck in today for the dealer to add shims to stop the launch shudder I have when hooked up to my 5th wheel. Just came in from testing it, if anything shudder last a bit longer than it did before, stops at bout 25 MPH. Called the dealer and he said they could add more shims or suggest I add air bags. Asked how much said with a compressor $1,400 for Firestone, $959 with out compressor. Think I will price around, its funny that my 2500 with the same trailer didnít have this problem.

What if I donít do anything, will this create problems down the road?

Thanks

Jim
