Congrats! I too just joined the diesel ranks, been after one for a while.

You have big plans or leaving it mostly as-is for now?

doing fluids at the moment. Found a leak at the Thermostat gasket, so placing that along with the 2 thermostats. Replacing the upper and lower hoses at the same time just cuz. Figure might as well with 82K on the truck. They appear to be the original single oring ones.

May as well do all the preventative maintenance as soon as you can, unless you know for a fact when the previous owner did.
I'm still researching to figure out if I want to go with Amsoil all the way around or Royal Purple.

both of those good oils. Expensive thought. Especially when you need 15qts. I think I'll do my first change with Rotella t6. What coolant you running ? Hear mixed things about ford gold due to the silicate break down. Was think of going ELC ? Thoughts

Glad to have you - to the ORG!!

Congrats on that great looking ride!!

A couple of things to look at:
1. New Hampshire Members - You should be able to meet other members around you. They are working on getting a new chapter going.

2. 08-newer 6.4L Forums - Lots of good info!
