Smile New Guy From Fort Bliss

I just want to drop a line and say HELLO to everyone. I'm a long time Cummins freak (please don't hate me) and I sold my 06 before I deployed and got the wife a 2012 Expedition and I can say that I have been impressed with Ford so far. I'm redeploying in a couple of days and found a 2002 F250 Auto CC/SB 4x4 that I'm thinking about getting. It has 190,000 on the ticker and has never had a goose neck/fifth wheel so that's a plus. I'm just a little worried because I have never had a Powerstroke before and not quite sure the in's/out's of the Ford's. Should I be worried that the truck has 190,000 on her? I was looking at getting the AutoEnginuity before I even head up to look at it. I want to make sure its code/problem free. Can the AutoEnginuity check for "old" codes that have been cleared? Again, I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can from you guys.

Glad to have you - to the ORG!!

Thanks for your service!!

The 190,000 miles by itself shouldn't be too much of a concern. If you had access to service records, that would tell you more about how those 190K miles were driven.

I can't help with the AE and old codes. I've heard of it, but have no experience with it.

Thank you guys for the welcome and for the kind words. It looks like I'm going to get the truck as I believe I got a heck of a deal. I cant wait to get back and check it out. Now begins the list of upgrades I want to do. I can tell this is going to be fun.

Soon to have 2002 White CC/SB 4x4 Auto with 190,000
