New to PSD; seeking guidance for durability

Hi all

The organization I work for recently purchased a 35' Krystal Koach on a 2000 F550 chassis.

It has 135,000 miles and for the most part has all scheduled maintenance performed.

As with all diesel newbs, I have been overwhelmed with all of the information on various forums and websites.

I have many years experience in the gasoline world, have built a number of race cars from demo-derby to fully-caged, fully adjustable suspension circle track cars, and spent a couple of (short) seasons in rallyX, so I know which way to spin a wrench. (and break things)

I am hoping to find some help in chosing the correct parts and mods to ensure durability and ease of repair, since we are located 50 miles down a logging road, and don't have easy access to mechanics and parts.
