Smile Colorado newbie

Looking to learn and gather info on diesels, particularly the 1st gen, '83-'87 IDI. I know, it's not a PSD, but I really like the all mechanical aspect of them. When I get the funds and find one, it'll become our family's recreational/utility vehicle.

welcome aboard, im in foco myself,

ive thought about getting one of those old IDI for my Bronco when funds come available/when my 5.0 dies, I see them pop up on Craigslist all the time. not a powerful motor but a reliable motor to my understanding.

the nice thing with the 80-87 is ford gave you the outlines to trim the fenders to install bigger tires

Mods:explorer heater valve, WR GP relay, RiffRAff boots, lariat overhead console, Hydra chip, 6637 mod, 6.0 cooler, AIH delete and isspro2 trans, egt, and boost gauges. 92 gallon aux tank with a total capacity of 130gallons, 1800 mile range , 4" MBRP straight Piped. 2" Warrior shackles
