Newbie here from Afghanistan

Hey all! Im writing for the first time from Afghanistan. Ive been deployed here now for 8 months should be returning home in March 07. I recently purchased a 99 F250 CC 7.3L 4x4 Lariat. I cant wait to get home and start modifying my truck. So far id like to add a chip/programmer, intake, and exhaust. Any suggestions on what mods will give me the most power/fuel mileage gains?? I gotta keep this short, but i cant wait to hear suggestions. Thanks.

HeyDude, Welcome to the site And congrats on your truck purchase. First things first, Thank You for what you and your fellow military personel are doing ! 2nd, stay safe and get back home. 3rd, look around on this site and youll get a good idea about the products you want. I personaly run the Ts 6pos. chip, Mbrp 4" turbo back exhaust, and tymar knockoff intake. Does great for power and ive gained 2-3 mpg ,depending on right foot and what im doing! I have checked that after a camper pulling trip and also after normal driving without towing. Some get more some get less. Iguess it depends on the truck and the driver. Anyway, get home and get with some of sponsors on this site. They will hook you up!!

Welcome!

Great to have you aboard! Thanks for the things you do to insure that we can keep on Strokin! I personally would reccomend the Ford AIS intake, MBRP 4" T-Back exhaust and a TS 6 position chip. Of course after a set of gauages.

Welcome to the forum man!! Thank you for serving your country!!!!

As far as what will improve your milage the most, it will be a combination of exhaust, intake, chip/tuner/programmer, and gauges to keep it all safe and sound!!! they all work together to provide the maximum gain when used jointly!!
