New PSD Duelly Owner

I just purchased my first Powerstroke a few weeks ago. It is a Red 2002 F350 2wd crewcab duelly fully loaded very clean. It has 103K miles one it. I bought it to pull my racecar trailer 36ft enclosed gooseneck trailier, and of course chip it,tune it, the hole 9 yards!!

Already you guys have saved me a trip to the dealership for repairs. I actually purchased the truck with an engine problem, the CPS was bad, the previous owner thought the worse and needed money so he sold it. I had been reading post on the CPS issue and this truck fit the symptoms, 2 new CPS off Ebay, $55 a peice, and good as new and got a spare!

Is there anything at 100k miles that I should do so far as maint. Trans and rear diff fluid is freash 5k miles ago.

-Matt

Congrats on the truck and Welcome.
At 100k I would put some attention into the belt and hoses. The belt should be changed IMHO whether it looks bad or not and some hoses...coolant hoses, can't really be inspected easily, just replace em and sleep better at night knowing its done. And of couse all filters and oil just to start off fresh with those.
Again, welcome to the site.

Matt, to powerstroke.org Nice to have someone else on here from the great state of North Carolina. Be sure and sing the NC forum page. We are trying to get a group together sometime and all meet at a Hooters or something in a good location for everybody. Let us know if you would be up for it. And again

Welcome aboard Matt... Everything thing you need to know and some things you don't are available on this forum... Wouldn't be a premium member if I didn't think this was the absolute best forum I belong to (believe it or not I belong to several) but there are only a few that I visit regularly (this one every day)....

Ken....
