Another Newbie

I'm new so be gentle. LOL! I'm doing research on all that I can before my Ford diesel purchase. I have owned several Ford trucks but never a diesel. I can't hardley contain myself. I have found a low mileage 2005 6.0 4x4 that with any luck will be mine by the end of the week. I was a diesel mechanic in the military back in the 80's. They are very different now. I have been an ASE certified mechanic for over 20 years at dodge dealerships. I am accustomed to the Cummins Turbo. Most of my dealer work has been on automatic transmissions though. I stayed busy as you can imagine working at Dodge. I got out of stuff that creeps around on the earth and switched over to aviation in 2000. Aviation has been very good to me. I currently work in Miami and live in Indianapolis. I will be surfing around on here so if I'm asking stuff in the wrong areas please redirect me. I hope that we can be beneficial to each other as time goes on.

Thanks in advance for your time
