New member....SW AZ

Hey everyone.

I've been lurking for a while, and am finally getting around to posting. I came across the .org while doing a little research regarding my next truck. Glad I found it, as there seems to be a lot of good information floating around here.

I'm new to the diesel world, but not new to trucks. My previous truck was an '03 F350 CCLB (V10) sitting on 40's. Unfortunately circumstances dictated that I sell it a couple of years ago. However, things have since changed, so it's getting to be time to get a new truck!

I plan on ordering a '14 F350 CCSB ULtimate Lariat (w/ a 6.7 of course) sometime around the end of the year. I've already talked to the dealer and they will be installing my lift prior to delivery. I usually do my own, but I'm kinda liking the idea of not jacking with my warranty right away for a change! This site has been very helpful with lift/wheel/tire combo info.

Anyway, guess I'll get back to hiding in the corner for the time being....

just because the dealer installs the lift doesn't mean the Ford power train warranty is unaffected that is Fords call so your pretty much tied to this dealer for warranty work
powertrain wise

but it's a better option than doing it yourself

have you joined APG your local powerstroke group ?

ZMANN...

Yeah, we briefly discussed how the warranty would work at the dealership when I was there last time. I know they sell new lifted trucks, so it shouldn't be anything new (except for the quality of the kit being installed). Besides, pretty much stuck with them for warranty work anyway, as the next closest dealership is over an hour away.

I was unaware of APG, so I will have to look into that. Thanks.

Yeah, well that's the plan at least. I'd rather be driving my new '12 or '13 by now, but the wallet says I'm waiting for a '14. Then again, if I can find a '13 on the lot with what I want when I'm ready to buy...

Either way, In the meantime I'm here torturing myself...uh, I mean planning and researching...lol.
