New to diesels and the site!

Hello all from South Western PA!

I'm picking up my new to me 1999 F-250 Super Duty (7.3L) this Wednesday. It's an XL, regular cab, work truck that I will be using to pull a camper, haul stuff around the house, and to enjoy. I have a company vehicle that I can use for personal use, so this isn't going to be my daily driver.

The truck has a hair over 141,000 miles on it. The engine is solid. Lots of power and a nice shifting transmission!

The body is in very good shape compared to the other trucks I've looked at in this price range ($5,000 to $10,000.) The front bumper is going to need replaced in the next few years and there's some surface rust underneath (the fuel tank strap rusted through, the dealer is fixing that before I pick it up.) The interior is very clean with the standard "drivers side wear" on the bench seat.

I'm stoked for this truck! I got it for $7500 and the payment will allow my wife and I room in our budget to get a decent camper AND use it!

Look forward to learning lots from everyone!!

Sounds like a great truck. I need to find something myself to tow a camper with.
