2005 OPINIONS

Hi guys I'm new here and new to the diesel market. Funny thing happened this morning. A older gent came by to look at my 2000 v10 350 I'll selling in my front yard and showed me his crewcab 350 diesel with 65k on it he has and wondererd if I would be interested in doing a trade. Its almost exactly what Im looking for but I know little about that 6litre engine. I've heard good and bad about certain years and am a little confused. He wants 21k for his and I want 6,500 for mine. Its an attractive deal as I don't have to wait to sell mine(if it sells) to put a down payment on something. I need this truck to tow my offshore race boat around the eastcoast. I'm not affraid of upgrades but what is the general consensus. Thanks guys Brian

If it hasn't had about $3000 worth of work done to the engine it will. Is it stock?

Does great towing. Fuel doesn't get old in the tank that's for sure!

welcome!

I have a 2001 V10, One thing I like about the truck is that it's a workhorse! haha
I Love my 6.4 though. Good luck!
