Hello everyone. New to the forums in the past couple of weeks. I have been lurking trying to gain some info on the 6.0L before I made my purchase today. Been around diesels all my life, but this is the first one I have owned. Looking to make some fun out of it. It is my play truck as we have other vehicles for the purpose of daily drivers. I am open to any and all advice!! Going to start with bulletproofing the truck and go from there. Thanks in advance for any comments/suggestions you guys may have!!

Welcome to the Org! I'm out of Fallon and have had my 6.0 for 6.5 years. I've done all the usual stuff except studding it, I'm waiting till it pushes a head gasket first.

Lots of good gouge here, everything has been beat at least twice so you'll probably find it in the search engine.
