Hello from Minnesota

Hello all,
I am a noob here at Powerstroke forums and to Powerstrokes in general. I recently purchased a 97 7.3 f250 with just under 200k miles as my project/learning truck. I am a senior in mechanical engineering at the University of Minnesota and have a pretty good understanding of diesels in general. I also grew up on a farm and can find my way around a shop pretty well. (oil changes, small engine rebuilds, diesel tractor repair, etc)

Anyway, I'd like to start by getting the truck back to daily driver condition this summer, it is drivable right now (or was until today...), but it has a few issues.

Front suspension: was used as a plow truck and has seen some abuse.. previous owner replaced a lot of parts, but there is uneven tire wear so I am sure the job wasn't as complete as was necessary.

Brake: Left rear brake often locks up on braking and the parking brake does not work... related???

I plan on asking more specifics on these questions in the future, but this post is just to introduce myself and to maybe get a few thoughts on things that I should be looking at.
