Unhappy A "Heavy" introduction/those were the days.

Well, I guess I started in the wrong place (although, I made a big BANG in the hometown page[R.I.]). So here goes...My name is HeavyMetalF-250. I've dubbed my rig Heavy Metal after the 1981 animated Heavy Metal movie. I've been a life-long Ford owner, but unfortuneately, they've all been cars. Mustangs, T-Birds, and I begrudgingly admit to one Escort GT, but no trucks. The funny thing is, the basis to ALL my mechanical skills started on early '80s all the way up to present-day gas & diesel Ford F-Series. I had worked as a mechanic for a construction company up until a few years ago, who exclusivley dealt with Ford F-Series. Anything from an F-150 to their prized F-650(which later was destroyed by the operator.) I've done everything from simple oil changes & brake jobs, to full-blown over hauls. Eventually, with the help of my old man, I was bringing in F-Series my friends own and even people I didn't know around the neighborhood, doing simple repairs to custom installs. Unfortuneately, I've moved from the ol' "Hood", and started a job 2 years ago servicing, repairing, and commisioning these drill rigs built in Italy. Although they use Cummins, Cat, and Deutz diesels, I still yearn for the opportunity to wrench on my beloved Ford Trucks. Now, finally owning one(thanks to my girlfriend), I can, but still miss my glory days as the neighborhood Ford Truck Junkie.
