Hello

Hi everybody,

Got a 2000 Excursion. Been reading around here for awhile and learned alot. Looking at some mods for mainly mileage, but like everybody...sometimes I like to go too! Thanks to the infomation I'v been reading here, I think I'v settled on what I'm looking to get, except the exhaust. Anybody have ideas for an exhaust system thats quiet.

Thanks in advance!

Quiet? Why would you want that... JK. to the ORG. An MBRP with a High Flow muff should do the trick just fine for ya. I would delete the cat too.

Welcome to the ORG.!

For a quiet exhaust, you may want to look at flowmaster or other muffler with active sound control. The fiber packed type mufflers will absorb of the higher frequencies, but tend to give a low frequency droan, or rumble. Keeping the cat, if it has one will help also. I wouldn't go aver 4". If you want more performance than the factory cat can handle, try an aftermarket high flow cat.
