Well, guess I should introduce myself.
05' Lariat, 4x4, Stock, 157xxx miles. According to the OASIS report the egr and oil cooler were replaced at 86k under extended warranty. Has some sort of Banks exhaust on it. First diesel for me and 2nd Ford, well, third if you count the 95' F150 I used for a winter to plow with, when we had snow in the winter time here.
I'll use it to get back and forth to work and pull the wife's camper with (I think around 8k lbs).
The information on this site has been awesome so far, I now have a list longer than my check book ledger of things I want to do. My main goals are APR studs and OEM gaskets, EGR delete and new OEM oil cooler, preventative maintenance type stuff. I'm thinking of tackling the delete and oil cooler myself with all the info available on here, the studs and gaskets, well, I haven't taken auto mechanics class in 25 years so I'll probably leave that to the professionals.
So far I love the truck as do my two kids (6 & 9) who always want to ride in it because as my 9 year old daughter says, "It smells good".
