New tp the world of Diesel
Hello all, I'm new to this site and also to the world of diesel's, so I'll throw out some things, okay first I Purchased a used 2004 F-250, 6.0 automatic 4x4 short bed, with 88,000 miles, I wanted the truck because I have a 28’ Checkmate boat, and needed something to pull it out of the water, so I know this truck will have no problem doing that, however after I got it I started hearing all kinds of nightmare story’s about the 6.0 having problems, is this true, and if so what can I expect? Or what can I do to prevent problems? I drive about 100 miles a day to and from work, fuel mileage is about 17-19, or 16 if I have my foot in it, it seems to fun pretty good, just thought I’d ask..
Thanks Frank
