Hey guys I've been lurking for a while but decided to finally introduce myself. I'm from Southeast TN and bought a 94 DI 7.3 5spd ext cab dually a few months back just for the sake of having one up on my friend who owns a chevy 3500 454. The diesel bug is growing on me now. I never could've imagined a work truck could keep up with the teenage hot rodders I'm a Chevy v8 guy (BBC & SBC) by my raisin' and wouldn't have any other kind of gas burner, but I did some research before buying this truck and decided to go with it.

Anyways I've put the 10k mod on my truck and I've got the exhaust cut off approx. 12in past the down-pipe while I wait on the rest of my exhaust to get here. I ordered from rpmoutlet and SUPPOSEDLY UPS damaged the packaging blah blah but I ended up with only half of a new downpipe lol. So now I've gotta deal with UPS rep's to get the crap straightened out. Then I'll be gettin guages, been tossing back and forth TS6 or DP Tuner, then DIY injectors!

Oh ok, you are a few hours away. I think I may have to get a tommy lift on my truck. Or would it be a Tina lift

The lift looks ugly and gaudy(sp?) but it's saved my back MORE than enough to make me keep it on there! Mine was on the truck when I bought it. Got the truck off a local rental business and it had the tommy lift, hide-away gooseneck, service records, 100k, and a reasonable price. I couldn't pass it up

Haha the second picture is the result of Christmas jeer + competition between me and my friends about whos dually has more/the best looking lights. I done it to kid my friends saying "Now who has the most lights!?", plus the kids love it! I threw a 300w power inverter on the floorboard and strung about 600 christmas lights all around the truck. They come off after christmas of course

Minus the christmas deco, I have 5 chrome LED lights which actually have 4 lights a piece on the valence under the bumper and 3 big chrome LED lights (each light assembly has 4 LEDs as well) on the lower portion of my tommy lift to replace the stock incandescent markers. Having friends and family who work at a place that builds fancy tow trucks and rotators makes LED cheap as hell

Here's a pic where you can see the LEDs on the valence. Maybe if I had taken the picture with a longer exposure it would've turned out better, but this gives an idea anyways
