Hey there. I just got a 2011 F250 6.7 after too many years of lusting. I've never owned a diesel before and now I won't go back. I love the feel, the sound, the look.
A little about me... I'm a Canadian now living in Texas for good. Work was a primary motivator but anyone that tells you they didn't move somewhere for better weather is probably not telling the truth.
So the truck I got came to me with about 25000 miles and a huge lift and tires. I suppose I'm trying to be the embodiment of "Everything is bigger in Texas". I didn't realize the pattern until my darling missus pointed out that my motorbike is also one of the biggest out there (Triumph Rocket III). Oh we'll... Living the American dream.
So next step is personalizing it with modest yet striking additions by way of bumper, guard, etc. Oh... And an additional step on the passenger side because She Who Must Be Obeyed loves yoga but not every time she has to get into the truck.

It's a HUGE change but I've never been one for complacency. Only thing I really miss are the mountains.

Go check out the Hill Country around San Antonio and Austin. We have some mini mountains that are pretty nice to cruise around.
