Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is David. I live in Franklinton, Louisiana. Fixing to start making some mods to a 2006 F-250 2wd CC SB. Going to be converting to 4wd to start and then who knows what. I just want to say thanks to all of those who are sharing the valuable info on here.

I have a buddy that has all the parts. He said he just needs 2-3 weeks to get them all together. He buys these trucks in all different shapes and forms and pieces them together to make good trucks. Mine will be the manual shift type as it is much more work to do the electronic type. Also thanks for the welcome.

Parts and labor $3500. Thats him doing all of the work. I plan on helping just because I enjoy doing this kind of stuff, but he is the professional. Seems like a good deal to me. I was expection it to be quite a bit more expensive than that.
