Newb

Well I've been a ford guy all my life, but when it came to diesels peer pressure took me to dodge. Wish id have stayed with ford, had three dodges all three 12 valves and i hated the way the trucks fall apart around the engines. Anyways in search for a 1999 to 2002 truck, in school for Paramedic so my diesel wants have to be limited. Thanks for all the awesome threads I've already delved through.
Kasey

Thanks man, I'm joining the VFD here locally just bc they are lacking in medically trained personel, even though I'm moving after school, most of the reason for wanting a powerstroke, more reliable and easier to get to some of the calls in the area what with our dirt roads and my current vehicle is 2wd. Plus wanting to get back into racing dirt track and hunting more once I'm done with school, thanks again everyone for the welcomes.

Alright first question I have, what problems do the 99-02 trucks have? Mainly interested in automatic 4x4's any problems to look out for drive train wise? My previous dodges should have just bought another truck and swapped the engine in. My buddy's GMC has had injectors replaced for a pretty penny and he babies that thing. Just curious as to any issues, trying to stay 7.3.
