Thinking about buying an 06 6.0...with 182,349 for mileage...wondering if that year of the 6.0 had many problems..never had a diesel before...but going to school in the fall...for diesel mechanics...any info will be very helpful

All 6.0's have issues, and require "bulletproofing" at some point in time. Read up on the following issues; Headgaskets (issues wtih facory TTY head bolts), oil cooler clogging/failure, & EGR failures. I dont want to scare you off, these engines work great when maintained.

welcome to the org! i would not buy a 6.0 but if you do there is a lot of great info on this site and alot of guys willing to help you out. If you buy it, dont it expect to never have an issue and any diesel is big money repairs no matter what engine it has.

currently driving a 335i bmw, no more powerstoke
