2000 Ford F-250 Extended Cab fits the bill. It has 200K I think and looks like I can get it for under $3000... What do you guys think?
I was looking to put another $1000 into it possible to make it a 100% daily driver and Tow Vehicle when need be. I love to add to diesel engines and have worked on them in the past, so willing to start a learning curve and get some real power with time and of course $$$. Anyway Hello and would love your guys input on first few mods.

Yeah its got some rust bed is almost toast, but I'm thinking its just to try out for a few months and see what I think and if I like the Ford sell it and get little nicer, if I can $1,000 every couple months I could get a nicer 2000 Crew Ford.

you would probably say the same to me its hard to say, Not sure how I feel about the kit you mentioned

I dont think I agree with everything on that list. But at this point focus on finding a truck you really like, so you dont have to re sell and re buy before modding.

my truck is kind of a POS compared to most on this site, but I love it. Every second driving it puts a smile on my face lol

I recommend doing DIY stuff, you get to know your truck a lot better, and its a lot cheaper. Whats the goals for the truck? daily drivers? you tow? what do you like to do? it all depends on what mods will be recommended. Keep us updated!


I know it depends completely on location, but to give you an idea, my truck was 195k miles, 5 speed 4x4 truck..rust around wheel wells but cab and frame are great. No issues with the truck in the 20k miles ive owned it. I paid 3500
