Finally popped my ford cherry.

Well I've been around the forums for a minute but I figured there was no point posting an introduction until I plunked down some money. Did that a few hours ago.

She's a 1999 F350 4x4 Crew Cab Long Bed with a ZF6. I'm super stoked right now, so many things I want to do to it and figure out about it, so I'm sure I'll have plenty of annoying questions soon.

As for me I'm near Chico, an electrician by trade, snowboarder by addiction. I used to skate a lot, but not so much lately. I like to wakeboard, camp, fish, ride anything with an engine and DJ. Before this truck I had a gasser 4x4 dodge, which I still do. However its pretty beat, non-opped and now just for use around the property. Funny thing is it has less miles than the Diesel.

I'm also a bit of a computer nerd, I studied computer science in college, hated actually sitting behind a computer 40-60 hours a week, then got into construction. But my inner geek still lives on, which you'll see later when I get the TruckPC going.

Another hobby I plan to take up soon is BioDiesel refining. I've already found a few WVO sources and plan to start really pounding the pavement on that front. If anyone in northern california wants to get a co-op going on this, please pm me. Likewise if you're an advanced skiier or snowboarder and want a riding buddy, get at me. And if you need a good affordable electrician...

Congrats on the buy! Sounds like a killer truck. One of our other Strokers (Rockyardjo) let me drive his zf6 Super Duty. Such a nice truck. I love watching people start this addiction. It's such a cool transformation to see. Keep on posting!

Thanks, for sure. I'll snap some pics and post them up tomorrow. She's old but still a freakin beast. Can't wait to strap some snowmobiles on the back of her. Anyone selling? ;p
