New Here, New 2013 On Order, Can't Wait!

Hi All.

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm coming over from the dark side in General Motors land and just recently ordered a 2013 Powerstroke. This will be my VERY first Diesel and I can't wait.

I've wanted a Diesel pickup for a long time and I've been "babysitting" a 2011 F-250 gas truck for a buddy of mine who has been over seas for the past year now. I've really gotten to like the truck, these superduty's are a great platform and rock solid. I've been very unhappy with my 09 Chevy 2500HD gas truck and thought it a great time to upgrade. So why not finally get that Diesel that I've wanted, so thats what I ordered

Hoping to learn lots and have a great time with it. Just got my Vin# and the Dealer says it may be here right before Christmas, if not then the first week of January.

So just wanted to say Hi and looking forward to lots of good info and discussion with everybody here.

Oh and pics will most certainly be posted immediately after she gets home!

why did you order a 2013 xlt when you could of gotten a left over 2012 for 10 to 12k off?

No 2012 SuperCab 6.5 ft bed Powerstroke's to be had around me and the 2013 are getting improved brakes and 14" rotors all around. Plus I didn't think 7200 off MSRP was a bad deal either on a ordered truck.
