Northern California Member checking in

Hey everyone, I'm Chris. I've been to this site a few times, and just finally decided to join now that my schedule is going to start slowing down. I know how much time forums take when you should be getting other stuff done lol...

Back in January of this year, I sold my '03 Denali for an 04 F350 Dually...To be honest, it was a huge sacrifice..The Denali was built, fast as hell, luxurious, 5 inch suspension drop...a beautiful truck with all the bells and whistles...and it'd run laps around a lot of built Super Duties...HOWEVER...I own a business now and needed a 1-Ton that could handle massive trailers and a lot of weight/cargo.

Here's the specs..

2004 Ford F350 Dually 2WD - Purchased with 48k miles...I've put almost 20k miles on it within the last 10 months.

Here's some pics to break up this big block of text.

Here's the salesman from the local Ford dealership taking away my Denali

Paint is clean and in great condition

Interior was flawless

The truck is in BEAUTIFUL condition!

Since then, I've had to put a massive bed shell on it for work.

Here's the truck at work

And a video that shows us using it as a camera car substitute..

Today, I ordered a 6 inch suspension lift and steel hubcentric wheel spacers for the rear. I'm going to get these installed 2moro, and hopefully find some tires I like by Wednesday afternoon since I'm driving to LA Wednesday and want the truck finished before then.

Let me know what you guys think. So far, I've spent a lot of time checking out all of your trucks..they are amazing...can't wait to join the group...Haven't found MUCH in terms of lifted 2WD trucks...but hopefully I can help when others come looking for the same.

I'm not really into lifted 2WDs...but I need to lift it to get bigger tires for the work I do...soooo that's my answer when people give me that dumb look and ask why anyone would raise a 2WD lol

Welcome to the ORG, beautiful truck you got there. With a few mods I'm sure you won't be missing that Denali for long. What part of CA are you in? Check out the California chapter, stop in and say hi.

I'm in Sac also..and thanks for the compliments.

Yea, I could add some power to the truck...the Denali had things this thing just doesn't have...and isn't worth fabricating/modifying. FULL power seats, heated seats (during winter, you know it gets cold here in Sac)..sunroof, 7 seats with comfort, steering wheel radio controls, digital dash info, AWD, navigation, full digital climate control front and back, rear entertainment system, Bose sound, more comfortable interior...etc...

But...that truck wouldn't be able to handle what this could...so it was worth the trade in a business aspect. I'll definitely check out the Northern Ca chapter. Do you ride? I've also got a Harley Davidson VROD

Nope, I've thought about getting a bike, but I prefer 4 wheels

Yeah, the SUV's are a little more comfortable, I had a Navigator Ultimate that I sold a few years ago, and I just bought an expedition, has all the goodies, but I enjoy driving the truck a lot more.
