I was a lifelong Chevy guy who has turned his back on Govt Motors.

Before this deployment I narrowed the collection of wheels to just the Jeep by ditching the 70' Camaro, the 72' Blazer, the 02' 2500, and the Dually. I will have my 06' Unlimited Rubicon (the last real Jeep) forever but it is not going to work for my hauling and towing needs.

So while I am over here I am using my down time to figure out which is going to end up in the driveway. I would love to find a low mileage excellent condition 2002 CCLB SRW 4x4 7.3 but they are damn hard to find. So I am left debating 6.0 or 6.4.

I am sure I am going to ask a bunch of newbie questions and hope you can bear with me.

Newbie questions? Bring 'em - Lots of good info here.
If you click on "Forums" in the black nav bar at the top of the page, you can scroll down through them and look at the 7.3L, 6.0L and 6.4L forums to read a bunch of stuff on each. It might give you enough to make an informed decision.

Actually I did find a niice truck that seems to be a screaming deal. It happens to be in San Antonio so I am trying to brow beat (ie pay) Chris @ TSD into taking a look at it for me. I figure someone like that laying eyes, hands, and ears on the truck is far better than anything Carfax is going to tell me! And the best part is that if everything works out I am jsut going to turn the beast over to Chris to let him work his magic
