I am an ex South African and if you have ever been in Africa, you will know that diesel is the fuel of choice. So no wonder that I have had an ongoing affair with diesels for many years. After about 5 years of living in the US, I bought a 30' boat and what better is there to haul it with than a big bad diesel! I have an 02 F350 Lariat 7.3 crewcab longbed, 6 speed stick, with EDGE EVO, Pricol guages, Banks Big Head wastegate, AFE cold air, 4' turbo down pipe, 5' straight through exhaust, 35" tires on 16" rims, and a levelling kit. Truck has 100,000mi on it, runs great. Max boost is at 26psi, EGT's good, able to keep it under 1000F most of the time even when towing on the 80hp setting, with occasional peaks at 1100F. Planning a few more mods so expect to hear more from me soon
