Hi Folks, I just joined this forum because in my search for fuel regulator leaks, I found the best info here. Yep, regulator leaks and I'll get the kit tomorrow.
I've bought my 06 F250 Lariat Crew Cab with Chrome Kit and lots of other options new and overall, it's been dependable. I tow a 25' travel trailer with it and it's also my daily driver.
It has had its problems though... At 3500 miles, the speedometer would report I was going 35 when really going twice that fast, after driving for about 3 hours. The dealership replaced the speedo head. At about 7000 miles, the driver's window motor would only sometimes work - the dealer would "lube the channel" even though it was the motor. At 35000, they finally changed the motor! Recently, around 50000 miles, the backup sensor stopped working. I am still trying to find where the heck the speaker/module is for that - somewhere up on the passenger side of the dashboard.
The truck only has 57000 miles on it now, it's still a keeper. I've been a motorhead for a long time and look forward to doing my own work on this thing since it's not under warranty any more.
