New here and new to diesel

Just wanted to drop a line and say hey. I am new to the forum and new to diesel. I just purchased a 2001 F250 Supercab 4X4 with only 125K on the 7.3. I have been reading here since I picked it up. I have been working on my own vehicles since I was a child. I also have been a tractor trailer mechanic for the past 8 years. Unfortunately, we don't go very in depth when something is wrong so I am trying to educate myself on the 7.3 Powerstroke.

I was also wondering about what are some of the best mods to help gain MPG. I am already thinking about putting in some gauges (maybe boost, pyro, and trans temp).

I will continue to educate myself here and hope I can find some help when I need it.

As far as mods for fuel economy, you might not want to hear it but driving habits is the best mod. After that, good maintenance and a free flowing exhaust will help out. Keep reading, it is all in there somewhere!
